TPAPT is seeking a dynamic Tutoring Coordinator to manage and oversee test prep tutoring programs for students in grades 8-12 for our Wellesley, MA, Chapter. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating tutoring schedules, onboarding new tutors, and delivering front line customer service. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a passion for education, and experience in tutoring or academic program management.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Organizing and scheduling tutoring sessions for students based on their needs and availability.
  • Supporting tutors to ensure high-quality tutoring practices.
  • Speaking with potential clients about our programs, closing business, and providing ongoing support.
  • Monitoring student progress and maintaining communication with parents and stakeholders.
  • Gathering feedback from students and tutors to continually improve the tutoring program.
  • Utilizing data to report on the effectiveness of tutoring initiatives and making recommendations for program improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Familiarity with structure, timing, and admissions time lines related to SAT/ACT and SSAT/ISEE admissions tests
  • Previous experience in tutoring or educational program coordination.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to supporting student success.
  • Familiarity with various educational tools and online learning platforms.
