Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in South Grafton, Massachusetts. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable processes, including vendor payments and invoice processing.
• Accurately code invoices into the accounting system to maintain proper financial records.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial accounts.
• Assist in the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries and reviewing financial statements.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting procedures and improve efficiency.
• Provide support for accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and collections.
• Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to perform daily tasks.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Prepare reports and documentation to support audits and financial reviews.• Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Proficiency in performing bank reconciliations and handling general ledger accounts.
• Strong knowledge of accounting systems, including NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.
• Ability to prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close activities.
