Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time speech-language pathology position offers a valuable opportunity to work in a high school setting, supporting students' communication needs through effective speech-language therapy. The role is based onsite in Manchester, NH, and is designed as a full-semester contract from January 26, 2026, to June 19, 2026, with a work schedule from 7:15 AM to 2:15 PM, Monday through Friday. The position requires consistent attendance and collaboration with faculty and department teams, with meetings scheduled twice monthly on Wednesdays.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Active SLP licensure in the state of New Hampshire is mandatory
- Open to Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA) candidates who meet state licensure requirements
- Previous experience working in school-based speech-language pathology preferred
- Familiarity with high school student needs and communication therapy techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills for collaboration and service delivery
Primary responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language evaluations and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Delivering direct speech-language therapy services to high school students
- Monitoring progress and documenting student outcomes
- Participating in faculty and department meetings to align therapy goals with educational objectives
- Ensuring compliance with state licensure standards and school policies
