Compensation Range: $20-30/hr

Job Description:
Provide frontline administrative and customer service support, coordinating office functions and hybrid meetings.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Welcome faculty, staff, and visitors at the front desk and respond to departmental emails

  • Coordinate facilities requests and communicate updates

  • Manage department calendar and room reservations

  • Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and distribute summaries

  • Support hybrid meetings with technical setup and troubleshooting

  • Create flyers and assist with social media efforts

  • Handle small financial transactions, ordering, and invoicing

  • Learn and adapt to new systems and technologies

Requirements:

  • Must-Haves:

    • 1–3 years of administrative or office coordination experience

    • Strong customer service and communication skills

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Teams, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

    • Experience coordinating hybrid meetings (in-person/virtual)

    • Time management and organizational abilities

  • Nice-to-Haves:

    • Experience working in higher education

    • Familiarity with social media and flyer creation

    • Ability to support technical needs during meetings
