About the Company
A global leader in the materials processing industry is adding a Human Resources Assistant to their team in Attleboro. The HR Admin will report to the Director of HR and work closely with the Sr. HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR duties for 200+ employees, mainly in Massachusetts.

What you'll be doing
- Workers' Comp and OSHA: Work closely with the Environmental and Safety Managers and EHS teams regarding workers’ compensation incidents, claims, and OSHA compliance.
- HR Support: Answer employee benefit inquiries in a professional and timely fashion, providing appropriate guidance, documentation, and/or resources such as 401K, Health, Dental, Vision Benefit, EAP info, and more
- Recruiting/Hiring: Oversee the talent acquisition function, sourcing and screening candidates, managing job posts, and working with staffing agencies to streamline the hiring process
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Human Resources or similar (HR certifications like PHR a plus)
- 2+ years of experience in human resources, employee relations, etc.
- Experience working in heavy industrial, manufacturing, OSHA-certified environments, or similar, where workers' compensation compliance, processes, claims, and incidents are part of the day-to-day duties
- Experience responding to employee inquiries about HR policies, procedures, benefits, and resources (401K, EAP, PTO, Paid Leave/FMLA, Sick Time, etc.)
- HR Generalist/Support knowledge including preparing and filing HR documentation, supporting talent acquisition efforts, and overseeing internal and external recruitment efforts, interview scheduling and processes, and hiring/onboarding (job boards, resume databases, collaborating with staffing agencies, etc.)
