Job Description 
A Scientist II position is available within the Biologics Process Development Department at the Antibody Drug Conjugate Center of Excellence in Waltham, MA. The group is responsible for developing and supporting cell culture and purification manufacturing processes for early and late phase clinical programs. What's the opportunity?
Parabilis is seeking a highly skilled and motivated biochemist/cell biologist with drug discovery experience to join our DeNovo Discovery team. The successful candidate will guide the development and execution of assays to address critical questions pertaining to cellular uptake and endosomal escape of our therapeutic compounds. This will involve working closely with a cross-functional team of chemists, biologists, and data scientists to design and perform experiments that assess Helicon™ uptake efficiency, cytosolic exposure (CE), and endosomal escape mechanisms.
This person will also support ongoing efforts to identify potential next-generation molecules by performing routine testing to measure cytosolic exposure and cellular uptake.
Key objectives include:

Job Description 
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team.&nbsp;In this role, you’ll execute routine testing using gel electrophoresis, HPLC, and compendial methods.&nbsp;This is a great opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for lab-based work in a collaborative, client-focused environment. Job Description 
This role is for an advanced personnel who has in-depth knowledge of cell based and potency assays and are comfortable with troubleshooting. The Group Leader’s main technical responsibility will be to serve as SME for mRNA and gRNA potency assays to support several client programs.&nbsp;
Technical Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Optimize, technical transfer, qualification, and validation of potency assays used for lot release and characterization of cell and gene therapy products and critical materials.</li>
<li>Acting as an SME resource for potency assays.</li>
<li>Execution of complex GMP release and stability assays such as cell-based functional assays, flow cytometry methods, ddPCR, ELISA, and NGS assays.</li>
<li>Author and review SOPs and technical reports.</li>
<li>Work with cross-functional groups within the client environment to participate in various aspects of method development, transfer, process, and product characterization, comparability, and investigations.</li>
<li>Analyze, track, and trend data to monitor analytical assays and ensure consistency in assay performance.</li>
