As a Traveling Superintendent, you'll lead the on-site execution of commercial construction projects throughout the Northeast. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong organizational skills, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all on-site construction activities from mobilization to closeout.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.
- Enforce safety protocols and compliance with OSHA standards.
- Utilize construction management software (ProCore) for scheduling, documentation, and communication.
- Maintain strong client relationships and represent the company professionally on-site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and building codes.
- Proficiency in ProCore and scheduling software (Microsoft Project a plus).
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations (OSHA 30 preferred).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel 75% or more throughout the Northeast.
- Valid driver's license; MA CSL and/or NY SST certifications a plus.
