X-Golf Hanover is a premier indoor golf simulator and entertainment facility that offers a high-tech golf experience using state-of-the-art simulators, food and beverage service, leagues, lessons, and event hosting. We're redefining the way people enjoy golf during all seasons of the year.

Job Summary

The General Manager is responsible for the overall operations, staffing, customer satisfaction, and profitability of the X-Golf location. This leader will ensure a smooth, efficient, and welcoming experience for customers while maintaining a fun and engaging atmosphere for staff and guests alike.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Facility Management

  • Oversee daily operations of the facility including simulator functionality, cleanliness, safety, and customer flow.

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors for food, beverages, and supplies.

  • Ensure all golf simulators are well-maintained and any issues are promptly addressed.

Staff Leadership & Scheduling

  • Recruit, hire, train, and manage a high-performing team of facility managers

  • Schedule staff efficiently to meet operational needs and labor budgets.

  • Provide ongoing coaching, development, and performance evaluations.

Customer Experience & Sales

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by setting a strong example and resolving customer issues or complaints with professionalism.

  • Promote league play, events, lessons, and private bookings.

  • Engage guests to encourage repeat visits, memberships, and referrals.

Financial Oversight

  • Manage daily financials including cash handling, POS systems, deposits, and reconciliation.

  • Track KPIs such as revenue, labor cost, food/beverage sales, simulator utilization, and customer satisfaction.

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies in collaboration with ownership and corporate support.

Event & League Coordination

  • Oversee scheduling and promotion of leagues, tournaments, and private/corporate events.

  • Partner with local businesses, organizations, and golf communities to drive bookings.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of management experience in hospitality, entertainment, retail, or sports/recreation environment.

  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

  • Proficiency in point-of-sale systems, scheduling software, and basic financial reporting.

  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
