What You Will Be Doing
The JaniTech Ops Technician (Cleaner Floater) is a key player in our day-to-day operations. You will be traveling to multiple client sites, ensuring they receive timely and quality service. You need to be flexible, as your assignments may change daily – no two days will be the same! The ideal candidate is seeking a full-time evening position, has a flexible schedule, and has a personal vehicle.
Our Ops Technician positions help cover operations in Burlington, South Burlington, and St. Albans.

Ops Technician Responsibilities and Duties:
- Travel to multiple client sites to provide coverage for call-offs, high-volume projects, or new locations.
- Sweep, Mop, and Vacuum floors.
- Dust, disinfect, and wipe down surfaces.
- Clean, disinfect, and restock restrooms.
- Safely utilize various cleaning chemicals and solutions.
- Empty trash bins and replace garbage liners.
- Lock up and set building alarms after completing your service.
- Other projects, as assigned by the manager.
Ops Technician Requirements and Qualifications:
- Previous janitorial cleaning experience. (Preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle. (Required)
- Successfully pass a Background Check and Motor Vehicle Report.
- Working knowledge of various cleaning methods.
- Flexible availability, able to work weekends as needed.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- A positive, team-player mentality.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. – We Use E-Verify.
Ops Technician Physical Requirements:
- Move or traverse through assigned work areas.
- Frequent reaching and lifting.
- Frequent bending, kneeling and squatting.
- Ability to handle a variety of cleaning materials/substances.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
