Desktop Travel Technician - Return to Office Project (Contract, 2–4 Months)
Location: State of Vermont (multiple sites)
Start Date: Late October
Duration: 2–4 months
Schedule: Full-time hours, onsite across various Vermont offices
We are seeking 8 Desktop Travel Technicians to support a statewide Return to Office Project.
Technicians will be responsible for setting up and configuring end-user workstations across multiple Vermont locations.
Responsibilities:
- Install and connect monitors, docking stations, printers, and peripherals
- Perform cable management and workstation organization
- Ensure proper connectivity and functionality of all hardware components
- Travel to multiple sites as required to complete workstation deployments
- Must have a vehicle and proof of insurance. Mileage to site locations will be reimbursed.
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience in desktop setup, deployment, or IT support
- Ability to travel throughout Vermont during the project period
- Strong attention to detail and professionalism when working onsite
