Job Title: Pharmacy Technician – Specialty Pharmacy (Oncology, MS, HIV, Rheumatology)
Location: Boston, MA
Pay: $23 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, rotating shifts between 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM. Opportunity for overtime and overnight coverage.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to join a growing specialty pharmacy team in Boston, MA. This role supports patients with complex conditions such as Oncology, Multiple Sclerosis, Hepatitis, HIV, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Transplant, and Gastrointestinal diseases.
As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring patients receive the medications and support they need. You will handle refill calls, set up deliveries, answer phones, process and fill prescriptions, and assist with transactions. You’ll also collaborate closely with other staff to manage prior authorizations, copay assistance, and benefits verification.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process prescription refills and coordinate patient deliveries
- Handle inbound and outbound patient calls with professionalism and empathy
- Prepare, fill, and ring out prescriptions accurately
- Assist with prior authorizations, copay assistance programs, and benefits verification
- Collaborate with pharmacists and team members to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain organized and accurate records in accordance with company and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
- Active Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License (Pharm Tech Trainee License accepted)
Preferred Qualifications:
- National Certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to adapt and learn new systems and technology
Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
