Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Special Education Teacher position is available in an elementary school setting located in Keene, NH. This role involves providing tailored instructional support to students with diverse learning needs during the uping school year under a contract agreement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure effective learning acmodations.
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Utilize specialized instructional techniques and resources to promote student engagement and success.
- Maintain accurate records and ply with all applicable policies and regulations regarding special education services.
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification or licensure.
- Experience working with elementary-age students in special education settings.
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
- Ability to municate effectively with students, families, and professional teams.
- Patience, adaptability, and dedication to supporting students unique learning needs.
Location: Elementary school in Keene, NH.
Contract Duration: Full school year.
