Working in our Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program, located in Lebanon, NH, the Administrative Assistant performs a wide variety of administrative tasks related to the Master of Physician Assistant Studies program. To support the Director, staff, and faculty in record-keeping, daily communication, and program operations as needed.
This is a non-exempt position and the expected work schedule is twenty hours per week, days to be determined. As a non-exempt employee, the schedule may vary based on the number of hours needed to meet the job responsibilities. The individual holding this position may need to be available early morning, evening, and weekends to meet the needs of the department and the University. Any overtime hours must be pre-approved by the Director.
Experience and Qualifications:
The skills and abilities that you bring to this position will include:
- Previous office working experience of three to five years is preferred.
- Good administrative, clerical, organizational, and communication skills is expected.
- A focus on customer service is very important, as is the commitment to assisting our students and faculty in a personable and professional manner.
- Have a thorough working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Previous experience working with databases is strongly preferred.
