The United Valley Interfaith Project (UVIP) seeks a Lead Organizer to assume major responsibility for current campaigns and projects. Operating across the Upper Valley and Claremont, UVIP is a faith-based community organizing organization comprised of 15 member groups of the Buddhist, Christian, Jewish, and Unitarian-Universalist traditions. The right person for this position will have a passion for social justice and a strong desire to work with people organizing themselves as a force to that end. The Lead Organizer will help UVIP leaders strengthen and grow our organization by building relationships, developing additional leaders in member groups, and engaging in effective issue campaigns to win significant gains in local and statewide social justice issues. The Lead Organizer will report to UVIPs Executive Director.
Salary will be in the range of $40,000 to $50,000 depending on experience. UVIP offers paid holidays, paid vacation, and paid sick time, as well as package of other benefits for full time employees.
