New Hampshire Electric Cooperative (NHEC) is the largest
electric cooperative in New England. This position will be lo-
cated in Plymouth, NH.
NHEC has an opening for an Administrative Assistant reporting
to the Vice President of Member Services. This position will
also provide administrative support to the Power Access
Department and the NHEC Foundation. A high school diploma
or equivalent is required with Associate degree in Secretarial,
Administrative, or Executive Assistance preferred. Courses in
accounting, organizational development, and communications,
business or related eld a plus. Eight to ten years of responsible
administrative experience preferred. This position requires the
ability to work in a team environment and to work independently.
Strong interpersonal skills are essential. Must have experience
in and be pro cient in the art of taking and drafting minutes
of meetings involving technical and con dential subject
matter. The ability to type with speed and accuracy, compose
correspondence is required. Must be conscientious about and
able to safeguard con dential information. Being capable of
ef ciently organizing and maintaining records and documents
is needed. The ability to collect, organize, and analyze a
variety of data is necessary. The aptitude to communicate
effectivelyand express and interpret ideas clearly, orally,
graphically and in writing is essential. Should be pro cient in
Microsoft Of ce, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Access.
