As a Customer Service Technician, you’ll serve as Aaron’s ambassador, upholding our commitment to excellence by working directly with our customers in a professional manner while selling our name brand products, providing unparalleled service and support, and delivering top quality products and services. You will receive expert training on all the latest model products from electronics to furniture to appliances. Additional responsibilities include field sales, merchandise handling and troubleshooting. Reviewing lease agreements with the customer is occasionally required. Sales Will handle telephone and showroom sales when needed. Assist in field marketing programs as requested by store management Deliver prescribed company advertisements/flyers when in field Service Responsible for all service calls with direction from sales manager. Responsible for testing all units immediately from service center prior to customer return. Responsible for testing all units and troubleshoot potential problems immediately upon return from the customer’s home with the supervision of Sales Manager. Initiate service calls and add to current open service calls. Showroom & Warehouse Responsible for repairing broken merchandise that would have been otherwise deemed worthless. Maintaining the store’s warehouse in a neat and orderly manner Assist in maintaining the showroom floor as per company guidelines Works alongside Sales Manager to keep warehouse organized and clean. Delivery Verify correct product and accessories for delivery or return Ensure that all merchandise is clean and in operating condition prior to delivery Review necessary information sheets Load, secure and protect product in delivery vehicle Offload, install and demonstrate merchandise Ensure that delivery schedule is followed Deliver merchandise to customers’ homes and businesses‐without additional damage Assist with merchandise returns‐load and service product in vehicle Document all vehicle movement on daily route sheets Conduct daily inspection of assigned delivery vehicle to ensure safety and maintenance guidelines are met Confirm customer identification, collect money and obtain customers’ signature on lease agreements
Product Installation & Education
Offload, install and demonstrate merchandise to achieve maximum customer satisfaction
Merchandise Returns, Service Calls & Product Refurbish
Perform routine service calls, product exchanges and assist with merchandise returns
Clean and certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center for all items personally returned
Showroom & Warehouse
Assist in maintaining the showroom floor and store’s warehouse
Other tasks as assigned by management
Strong technical skills or working knowledge of electronic products
Position routinely requires lifting, loading, and “dollying” heavy merchandise Neatly groomed appearance Strong technical skills or working knowledge of electronic products
