Lightning Soccer Club (LSC) is a premier youth soccer club serving over 60 towns. The LSC Managing Director serves as the professional leader of the club a 501(c)3 registered nonprofit organization supervising all other employees, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction, and reporting to the LSC Board of Directors. Candidates should have a strong interest in promoting youth sports and proven experience in business/nonprofit/institutional leadership.
The Managing Director is responsible for long-term planning for both enrollment management and facilities, as well as the creation of new program and initiatives.
The Managing Director sets budgetary priorities and oversees all finances for the club, ensuring compliance with all laws and best business practices. The Managing Director will either work in conjunction with an LSC Business Manager or be personally responsible for all financial management based on skills and interests. The Managing Director position alone is a roughly half-time position. If the selected candidate prefers a full-time position, the LSC Business Manager position and responsibilities can be folded in, thereby creating a full-time position.
